How do I enable or disable Auto Pause backups?

Auto Pause is a feature that allows the My Memory Center™ program to pause itself, after a period of no user activity, when it detects mouse or keyboard activity.  The design of this feature is to return the computer resources it’s currently using (free them up) so they are available for the immediate needs of the application being called on by the mouse or keyboard activity.  By default this feature is enabled.

To enable or disable Auto Pause backups, perform the following:

1. Click the SETTINGS button.

2. Click Advanced.

3. Click the Other Options tab.

4. Select or clear the Auto pause online backups check box.

5. Click the Save button.

6. Click OK.

TIP: During a backup when an Auto Pause message appears you can disable Auto Pause:
